A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Head of Chemistry or Physics to support our Head of Science within a dynamic department. The department consistently achieves above national results, achieving record results in 2021/22 with 74% achieving at least 2 grade 4 or above, in science and consistently positive progress in our expanding triple science groups.

The Science Department at Outwood Grange Academy is a large and thriving department. Our team of 18 science teachers deliver high quality lessons in specialist labs all contained within a purpose-built building. This is supported by our brilliant team of 4 technicians. At GCSE we follow the AQA specification delivering both the separate science and the Trilogy Combined Science curriculum. We also have a large and expanding post 16 where we deliver all 3 A level Sciences alongside Btec Level 3 Extended Certificate in Applied Science.
