**Job Summary**:
As a **Trade Press Consultant **, **you will contribute to and activate on EAME trade press communication plan working closely with internal BU clients and dealers to secure maximum positive editorial coverage of the company's products and services across a broad range of Global and EAME trade publications. This role requires traveling, at least one full week each month across EAME (25-50% of the time).

**What You Will Do**:

- Establish and maintain strong press relations with global and EAME regional trade press publishers. Types of editorial support include: Editorial requests, press release oversight (including internal approvals), and trade show and press event press management.
- Act as facilitator and liaison between trade press and appropriate internal SME experts and executives in providing editorial content/responses on Cat products and services.
- Support the BU trade press comms plan by proactively pitching and organizing job site visits with key magazine editors to highlight key Cat products and solutions.
- Provide an excellent level of communication and working relationships with the comms teams at the dealerships, as they are a key stakeholder for this role in addition to internal BUs and trade press editors.
- Advise internal marketing and product groups in developing press information and special press events. This includes planning, logistics and execution of a trade press related special event whether virtual or in person. Develops comprehensive communications plan based on company goals.
- Key contributor to annual trade press strategy for each internal EAME BU client, closely collaborating with Global Trade Press Manager.
- Expert on CI trade press industry including competitor product/service offerings and trade press coverage.
- Continually looking for ways to mine additional proactive coverage opportunities that deliver on comms strategy and client key messages.
- Oversee EAME client media reports, ensuring accuracy of coverage and results.

**What You Have**:

- Understanding of the corporate organization and dealer operations; knowledge of journalism and news publishing.
- **Planning**:Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
- **Influencing**:Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
- **Flexibility and Adaptability**: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

**Salary**: £59,750-£72,000 (Depending on Experience)
