Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in London, which is easily accessible via public transport.

**About the role**:
As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service.

**Your main responsibilities as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist**:

- Possession of a professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with the HCPC as a qualified practitioner.
- Demonstrated experience in an acute adult hospital environment, with specific experience in Critical Care settings.
- Evidence of proficiency in managing patients requiring mechanical ventilation, including successful completion of tracheostomy competency framework.
- Completion of postgraduate training in videofluoroscopy/FEES.
- Desirable but not essential: Experience in head & neck oncology.

**What we are looking for in a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist**:

- Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
- NHS/ private experience in speech and language therapy
