**About**:
MET Medical provides a wide range of emergency and urgent care services ranging from PTS, HDU Transfers and frontline services. Emergency Care Assistants will provide essential support to our team of Paramedics and EMTs to deliver high quality care at music festivals, sporting events and large crowd events

**Job Purpose**:

- Treating patients within the agreed scope of practice and making referrals for advanced medical support in line with the Pre-Hospital Early Warning Score as appropriate.
- Provide pre-hospital emergency care and treatment during events
- Event paramedics will also staff first aid posts / treatment centres to provide treatment for minor injuries as well as working with our Ambulance crews, Paramedics and Doctors on more serious cases
- Provide assistance to colleagues, Healthcare Professionals and the wider emergency services where needed.
- Patrolling the event site, responding to calls for assistance via the MET Medical communications team and members of the public (this is the team’s primary role at events)
- Assisting at the medical facility, major units and walk-in-centres around the events
- Act in a professional manner at all times whilst representing MET Medical

**Requirements**:
**Essential / Experience**:

- Valid in date FREC3 certificate
- Hold a valid EU Driving License (No more than 3 endorsement points)
- C1 Category licence
- Evidence of Continual Professional Development
- Effective social skills gained from experience, dealing with the public, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
