The role of Finance Business Partner includes actively driving compliance with the contract and reporting on all contractual and financial matters throughout the matrix operating model and to the client team as well as end to end financial management for the contract.

You will be responsible for the provision of a financial framework in order to measure and guide contract performance, ensuring that business processes are conducted and correct in accordance with ISS and client corporate policies and in a way which protects and enhances the image and reputation of ISS.

**Key Responsibilities**_**_
- Commercial lead for contractual change control notifications and liaison with the client regarding pricing of new buildings / assets / site closures / other changes working closely with the account team to ensure optimisation of the process as well as an accurate and consistent approach
- Be the contractual expert for the assigned contract, supporting the team to ensure a detailed understanding to protect both parties from external and internal risks
- Ensure timely and accurate financial forecasting including P&L, cash, client forecasting requirements and the budget planning process. Also proactive management of the billing process and cash collection
- Ensure commercial control of additional services and projects delivery process e.g. supplier selection; additional services and projects sign off process; financial performance of variable works; scope change sign off process and reporting for both ISS and the client
- Keep a clear track of all commercial risks and opportunities and drive actions to mitigate and maximise respectively, including driving opportunities for additional scope to deliver (growth)
- Working closely with the account team to ensure optimisation of processes and spend as well as an accurate and consistent approach to profitable growth

**Professional and personal competencies/qualifications**_**_
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
- Commercial / Financial experience in a commercial services contract environment
- Strong communicator able to communicate with clients, operations, suppliers, and team
- Experience of using Navision & Coupa would be desirable
- Evidence of strong understanding of the importance of process and control within Finance
- Ability to highlight problems, offer practical solutions, and support their execution
- Commercial acumen, as well as experience of understanding relationships between key financial and non-financial business value drivers
- Evidence of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Evidence of building trust with a team; allowing direct conversations and not sanitising message
