We are seeking an experienced Sales and Wedding Coordinator to join our award winning venue.

The role:
- You will provide dedicated support for the sales and planning of The Wellbeing Farm in all aspects of corporate events, weddings and parties.
- Reporting to the Office Manager, and supported by our Sales and Marketing Manager and Events Manager, your role will have responsibility for ensuring success across the following areas:
- To reactively and proactively, sell The Wellbeing Farm in all aspects of weddings, corporate events and parties.
- To carry out show-rounds and appointments at the farm.
- Completing the necessary administration to ensure the event is successful from a customer service and financial point of view
- To ensure the production of accurately and timely function information ensuring it is effectively communicated to the events team
- Review and action all aspects of guest feedback
- Ensure the best financial use of all conference and wedding/party space
- To generate new leads and enquiries as well as maintaining existing/return business
- Attend external sales events locally to support the Group Sales team
- Recommend ideas and initiatives to develop sales/revenue for meetings and events business
- in the absence of the Events Manager, to provide ad-hoc cover to run the weddings, corporate events and parties effectively ensuring all events are completed perfectly.
- Working as a Wedding and Events Coordinator to plan and organise weddings and corporate events and parties. This will involve meeting with the couple / event booker and capturing their customer requirements onto a customer relationship management system and communicating their customer requirements to the rest of the team.
- On the day, to oversee the wedding and event setup and the successful delivery of the wedding ceremony and wedding feast. This role will involve working weekends and early evenings.
- Adhoc tasks as and when required
**Requirements**:
- Full time, office based role, 40hrs per week including weekends on a rota basis.
- Previous sales and events experience within a quality hotel events environment
- Proven ability to achieve sales budgets in an events environment
- Smart appearance and friendly telephone manner
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Personable and able to adapt your personality to the couples/clients.
- Ability to manage time and co-ordinate priorities effectively.
- Driving license
- experience of running a wedding/events is essential
- Be committed to sustainability

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Wedding and Events: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
