We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional to join our growing team here in Scotland, as we continue to grow and establish our position as the leading advisors for owner managed businesses.

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to spearhead our marketing strategy and activities across our offices in Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy, and Stirling.

Primarily based in our Edinburgh office, this role is perfect for a commercially-driven, creative individual eager to step into a more strategic marketing position.

To thrive in this role, you must have a strong passion for the entire marketing mix and be confident in creating impact across the marketing funnel. You will deliver tangible results aligned with our business objectives, demonstrating resilience, a strong work ethic, and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Key components of the role will include:

- **Strategy and campaigns**:Developing our marketing strategy in line with our business objectives. This will involve coordinating and delivering targeted, ROI-focused marketing campaigns and tactical activities, to influence and engage our current and prospective clients.
- **Stakeholder relations**: Working closely with our leadership team, other regional marketing leads, and outsourced agencies to deliver a consistent and joined-up approach to marketing and BD.
- **Website**:Acting as a custodian for our website; developing and maintaining landing pages; optimising content; taking a proactive approach to resolving website issues; and making recommendations to improve website performance. Tracking, reporting, and analysing website analytics and conversions across the regions.
- **Design**: Producing creative assets including presentations, infographics and flyers using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office, and liaising with our external creative agency.
- **Social media**: Supporting key partners to develop their online presence and visibility on LinkedIn as experts in their field. Ensuring a coordinated approach to social media across our teams.
- **Commercial impact**: Using a comprehensive suite of KPIs and digital metrics to measure and assess the impact of our marketing initiatives, painting a clear picture of the commercial benefit.
- **SEO**:Using digital tools to optimise our content for search, ensuring Haines Watts is ‘easy to find’ online and working closely with our comms/content lead to ensure data and search algorithm insights are aligned to every piece of content we produce. Ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation, and informing our content marketing strategy with search terms and queries.
- **PPC**: Overseeing paid search campaigns, improving our audience targeting, increasing our conversion rates, and managing campaign costs.
- **Proposal writing**: Producing proposals and pitch presentations to support the sales process.
- **Digital tools**:Using online, digital tools such as SEM Rush to conduct regular competitor analysis, enabling us to disrupt and stay ahead of the curve. Reviewing new technologies and digital tools to keep Haines Watts at the forefront of digital marketing.
- **Proposal writing**: Producing proposals and pitch presentations to support the sales process.
- **Client experience**: Building on our established client feedback programme, helping partners implement and understand data. Using digital marketing best practice to improve and optimise our online client journey, and actively pursuing new ways to improve our conversion rates.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role/B2B orientated role
- A relevant degree or qualification in Marketing
- Great interpersonal skills and a natural communicator who can work closely with our leadership team
- Exceptional organisation/time management skills with the ability to adapt, prioritise and manage workload effectively
- A good understanding of digital marketing, including social media, PPC, SEO, CMS and analytics tools

- A self-starter who can take the initiative and hold others to account
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
