The role of Trainee Collections Administrator is a key role within the team dealing with the management of cash inflow and building relationships with customers.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Contribute to developing relationships and communicate with customers on cash collections / debt queries in a timely manner.
- Assist with prompt collections through issuing statements, sending letters, making phone calls.
- Allocate daily cash as received, both cheques and electronic payment
- Ensure that customer account queries and problems are resolved in a timely manner to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Assist with raising invoices and issue credit notes as required.
- Work collaboratively other departments to address account and invoice issues to facilitate payment
- Encourage customers to use direct debit as a payment method where practicable.
- Maintain the system as necessary - create / amend / delete accounts etc.
- Ensuring contact details are up to date on the system.
- Assist with other customer service and finance related duties, as required.

**KEY MEASUREMENTS**
- Meeting departmental deadlines and objectives
- Aged debt on sales ledger
- Direct debit penetration

**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent numerical and problem solving skills.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and results driven
