An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant to come and join Westons Garden & Property Services Limited on a full-time, permanent basis.

**The main duties and responsibilities of the experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant are**:

- Producing and sending of quotes and invoices
- Processing accounts payable transactions, including verifying and recording invoices, and preparing payments
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Chasing missing invoices and credits
- Communicate with our suppliers and customers regarding account inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Data entry and reconciling bank and card statements
- Record keeping and filing
- Maintaining and updating the payments to suppliers on the Nominal Ledger
- Purchasing materials and other supplies
- Maintaining and ordering staff PDA's and telephones
- Maintaining vehicle, public and employers liability insurances
- Assisting with the admin required to keep company accreditations up to date
- Respond to routine enquiries (face to face, telephone, in writing) on behalf of the team/managers as appropriate
- Ad-hoc billing activities as and when needed
- Assist with verifying timesheet calculations, ready for the payroll team
- Assist with VAT returns

**The main skills and requirements are of the experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant are**:

- Considerable previous experience working in a similar role
- Very high levels of accuracy
- Excellent administration skills
- The ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with accounting software Sage accounts
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Considerable experience using Microsoft Office

**Please note**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
