An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contracts Contractor (SCC) to deliver all required contract review activities to put in place a suite of subcontract agreements for a Decommissioning work scope in Asia Pacific region.

In execution of the scope of work the SCC is required to liaise closely with Subcontracts Manager, Commercial Manager, technical specialists, functional support and key stakeholders to ensure placement of contracts within Petrofac Best Practice, group and business guidelines and procedures.

In conjunction with the wider Petrofac Supply Chain organisation and the Commercial Director the SCC will be required to articulate the commercial planning of well operations, and decommissioning scopes and develop suitable strategies based on Petrofac’s client and subcontract conditions of contract to support the business and associated project work.

12 month contract, commencing ASAP.

**_ Scope of Services_**_:_**
- Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below. A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment_
- _Provide benefit of expertise to support Project Managers in presenting the Company’s position to suppliers and advise managers on their subcontract rights and obligations._
- _Adhere to company procedures and processes and follow these principles in all aspects of the role, in so far as they relate to the Contractor._
- _Adhere to strict confidentiality of all allocated subcontracts and ITT processes._
- _Ensure any agreed subcontract position is approved in line with the Company Delegation of Authority Matrix._
- _Ensure that where appropriate the sub-contract terms drafted ensure full back-to-back coverage with client contracts._
- _Where appropriate liaise with legal, tax, insurance, and compliance to obtain their input into subcontracts._
- _Liaise continuously with technical teams (Well Engineering and also Logistics), clients where appropriate and sponsor departments._
- _Provide supply chain expertise to support business development activities._
- _Work with the various Company departments to negotiate Master Services Agreement subcontract terms with suppliers, in support of projects, in line with Petrofac Best Practice and prepare justification for any significant exceptions for senior management approval._
- _Assist in the resolution of subcontract claims and disputes._
- _Any other Work as required by the Company and its Clients in the execution of the Scope of Work as defined herein._

**_Deliverables:_**
- Services should be provided to enable production of the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order._
- _Key deliverables to include:_
- _ _Development of project sub/contract strategy papers and plans for designated Client well operations._
- _Ensure placement of Tier 1-4 contracts within Contracts strategy plan._
- _Input to and update the Asset Solutions subcontracts plan as per any designated project and ensuring any such tendering activity is listed on the FPAL forward work plan._
- _Provide project specific input to the annual FPAL performance feedback review plan (or any other plan as advised by company) and carrying out performance feedback reviews in accordance with the plan, on a project basis._
- _Raise/Issue project call off orders via the suite of Master Service Agreement and standalone Purchase Orders for the procurement of goods, services, equipment, and materials, where appropriate using the Company’s Oracle ERP tool._
- _Prepare, issue, and manage Invitation to Tender (ITT) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages covering objective, evaluation and award._
- _Prepare and issue to the selected contractors approved contracts and deal with subsequent contract amendments._
- _Maintain and log all subcontract change authorisations and amendments._
