2fawcett are excited to be working with a family run business based in Ockbrook, Derbyshire to recruit for an accounts assistant. As the accounts assistant you will be joining a progressive and straightforward thinking employer with a wealth of experience, who pride themselves on the reputation they’ve established.

Our client are expanding and evolving, and need a highly motivated Accounts Assistant to join their team and play a crucial role in the day-to-day financial operations. As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll be supporting the Finance Manager and assisting with various accounting functions.

**The Role & Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk**

Reconciling supplier statements
VAT Posting and returns
CIS Payments
Raising and processing purchase orders
Raising invoices on Sage
Processing of staff expenses
Matching suppliers’ invoices (PO’s, delivery notes, etc.)
Entering suppliers’ invoices onto Sage
Processing credit card statements

**Requirements of the Purchase Ledger Clerk**

CIS experience is preferred but not essential
