We’re looking for someone who is innovative, creative, and well networked, who can support us to identify opportunities and help deliver an audience-led approach to our programmes, partnership, participation, and interpretation. This role will have a particular focus on supporting us to identify opportunities and develop our **outdoors **experience programmes across the North region. We have a vision for more people, from more diverse backgrounds, to feel welcome and confident to enjoy the outdoors in the way they want to.

**Hours**:Full time 37.5 hours per week, mainly working Monday to Friday with occasional weekends

**Salary**:£43,407pa. We are currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2024.

**Contract**:2 year fixed term contract

It’s a matrix way of working so you’ll form part of an organisation-wide network of curators who consist of both Experiences & Partnerships Curators and Cultural Heritage Curators. What you'll be doing:Our incredible region presents endless opportunities to engage our audiences, to ensure we offer something for everyone and grow support for our cause. No two days are the same at the National Trust, your role will be varied and include supporting the delivery of national programmes, contributing to a range of regional and property projects, and providing day to day specialist advice on everything linked to creating amazing experiences at our places.

You’ll lead on our **Regional Outdoors Experience Development Plan **. Working closely with our national, regional and local teams you’ll help plan and coordinate key visitor engagement opportunities. You'll help us put audiences and communities at the heart of our programming, creating dynamic experiences, brokering commercial partnerships and coordinating the rollout of national programmes. As part of the internal consultancy you'll help ensure we provide exceptional service. You'll develop relationships with operational colleagues and stakeholders within and outside the North region.

Working with your Consultancy Manager, you'll use your visitor experience knowledge and skills to support ‘one team’ working across the organisation.

- significant experience in delivering visitor experiences in a relevant sector
- evidence of a commitment to creating an inclusive culture
- significant experience in the development and coordination of visitor programming, **particularly in the outdoors**:

- consultancy skills, active listening, negotiation, stakeholder management and the ability to analyse and solve complex problems
- the ability to develop strong, effective working relationships with colleagues
- experience of successful and creative approaches to partnership working
- experience in undertaking commissioning and **analysing audience research **to inform decisions.
