**About the Role**

The Student Wellbeing Adviser will be a point of contact and guidance for student-facing staff within Colleges and Academic Departments, offering responsive professional advice and coordination of student support. They will, as required, support our whole-community approach to mental health and wellbeing by delivering presentations, workshops or training sessions for staff and students.

The funds for this post are available for 7.5 years in the first instance.

**What you will need**:

- Experience working in a wellbeing, mental health, or health and social care role.
- Experience in delivering professional assessments of wellbeing, functioning, mental health and risk
- Knowledge and competencies in best practice supporting international and global majority students.
- An interest in working with students and an understanding of the issues which affect them.
- Degree or equivalent qualification or experience, and evidence of training in wellbeing, mental health or suicide prevention.
