The Norwich Bioscience Institutes Partnership (NBIP) has an exciting opportunity for a Training Administrator to join their busy Human Resources department.

**Background**:
The Norwich Bioscience Institutes are a cluster of internationally renowned research organisations, working to tackle major challenges of the 21st Century - the sustainability of our environment, our food supplies and healthy ageing.

The NBI Partnership provides high quality, non-scientific support services for the diverse community of staff, students and visiting workers at the Institutes (the Earlham Institute, John Innes Centre, The Sainsbury Laboratory and Quadram Institute Bioscience) and for the NBI Partnership.

Based on the Norwich Research Park amongst 230 hectares of parkland, you will be joining a committed, professional and welcoming team. The Human Resources team provides support and guidance to managers and staff throughout the institutes, on everything to do with people. Services span the whole employment experience from recruitment, performance and absence management to training and development, pay and benefits and leaving processes. They work pro-actively alongside science to ensure that people’s skills and potential are realised. The team are also responsible for ensuring that the institutes are both legally compliant with Employment Legislation and following accepted best HR practice.

**The role**:
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and highly organised individual who will play a key role in co-ordinating training for a wide range of people from aspiring undergraduates, PhD students to postdoctoral scientists and experienced staff across the scientific institutes based in Norwich. This is a busy and varied role which will involve organising and co-ordinating training activity and liaising with staff across NBI.

The successful applicant will be a strong administrator and team player, with excellent interpersonal skills that will enable them to build successful working relationships. Previous experience working in an HR/Training Team and working with external training providers is essential.

**Additional information**:
Salary on appointment will be within the range £26,600 to £28,950 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post offered on an indefinite basis.
