**Accounts and Administrative Assistant**
**Job description**:
This is a full-time position, working an 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
The daily tasks involved will include (but not exclusive to) the following:
- Preparing and sending sales invoices.
- Updating and compiling monthly storage invoices.
- Recording and reporting daily sales figures.
- Chasing and receiving payments via telephone.
- Some basic reconciling of our accounts system.
- Sending of payment letters to bad debtors.
- Answering the telephone and managing Customer queries.
- Administration of warehouse collections and payments.
- Some support and assistance to the route planning team.
- Assisting the Office Manager with a range of varied administrative tasks.
**The Successful Applicant**
In order to be considered for the role you will:
- Be competent using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Experience with Xero Accounting System an advantage.
- Have previously worked in a similar position.
- Be approachable and organised with your time.
- Have a polite and friendly telephone manner.
- Ability to work alone using own initiative.
