Job Description:

This is a demanding role within a dynamic business requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical skills. You must be well-organised, able to prioritise tasks, and work independently and as part of a team.

You will assist the accounts team by completing clerical tasks outlined below, adhering to company procedures, and maintaining good relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.

Key Duties:

  • Create sales invoices and credit notes, converting them into valuations for clients and producing detailed customer statements.
  • Manage the ledger to ensure timely invoice payments.
  • Liaise with clients regarding their valuations and any related queries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve queries.
  • Monitor the account inbox one day a week.
  • Handle customer and supplier inquiries via phone or refer them to the relevant department.
  • Perform printing, filing, and scanning tasks as needed.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Sage 50 Accounts / Sage Intacct
  • Microsoft Office
  • Report creation, administration, and writing skills.
  • Process adherence, organisation, and analytical skills.
  • Professionalism, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including vlookup and pivot tables.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
