**Monday to Thursday 08:30am - 5pm and Friday 08:30am to 4:30pm = 37 hours**

**Salary**:
£12.07 per hour - PAID WEEKLY

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join the sales team for one of our well established clients based in the Heywood, Greater Manchester area on a 6-12 month temporary contract.

**Your role as an Customer Service Officer will include, but not be limited**:

- Process customer requests with due regard to data protection regulations, data inputting, pricing and delivery information whilst using a variety of software systems.
- Generate and manage sales orders of Private Pay customers through the internal database, and outbound calling activity.
- Liaise with all business partners; carriers to check deliveries, arrange collections and accurately document findings.
- Effectively work towards agreed targets and call measures whist ensuring that queries are dealt with efficiently and to a high standard.
- Follow up phone contact for consumer samples, catalogues requests and other leads generated by customer requests or specific marketing campaigns.
- Proactively promote new and existing campaigns regarding products as directed, encouraging leads and sales conversions.
- Handling customer complaints, channel these according to correct processes and supporting the team in preventative solutions.
- Reporting to the first line manager with information received from customers in relation to the market, competitor activity, etc.

**Customer Service Officer require the below**:

- NVQ Level 2 or above in Customer Service, Sales and Telesales, or equivalent qualification.
- Willingness to undergo personal training and development, for an on-going high level of competence necessary for the role.
- Experience within Telesales or Direct Sales.
- Experience within Customer Service.
- Worked to &/or exceeded sales targets.
- Persuasive telephone manner and strong solution building initiatives.
- Ability to generate leads for sales, seek opportunities and support & develop "objection handling" skills.
- Understanding of data protection, equality and diversity.
