Our client, a high achieving, coeducational private school set in 25 acres of grounds with first class facilities is looking to appoint a Payroll Officer and HR Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. The role in question is an immediate start, sensitive to the notice period of the successful applicant.
The school in question is a friendly and welcoming environment with exceptionally high standards and a proud record of achievement at all levels, catering for children from the ages of 4-18, this is one of London’s leading private schools.
The Payroll Officer and HR Assistant is a member of the HR team and works alongside the Recruitment and HR Officer to provide a generalist HR service throughout the full employee life cycle for the staff and senior leadership team of the school.
The post-holder holds primary responsibility for: Absence management; Compliance with pre-employment checks, e.g., DBS; Compliance with mandatory time-bound training and Declaration Statements; the Early Career Teachers programme; Leaver and joiner contractual calculations; parental absences e.g., maternity leave.
The successful applicant will be experienced in the administration of payroll, be organised, meticulous and professional, experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential.
