**We currently have an exciting development opportunity for an experienced Recovery Worker to work with our Together South Devon team as a Senior Recovery Worker.**

As a Senior Recovery Worker, you will work alongside our Team Lead’s to support with the day-to-day management of our treatment services, including the allocation of workload, case management and staff supervisions.

This role is a chance to take more responsibility and learn about the running of the service, as well as develop your existing skills to provide an excellent quality of care to our service users. In addition, as a Senior Recovery Worker, you will hold your own reduced caseload of complex cases. **Day to day responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting the line management of Together staff, coaching and motivating your colleagues, and promoting wellbeing support for the workplace.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the service, in line with commissioning standards, such as CQC.
- Providing support with recruitment and selection of staff, in line with EDP Policies and Procedures.
- Ensuring that systems and processes in place are compliant with the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System.
- Supporting with other ad hoc duties, as required and with the support from our existing Team Leads.

**Who we are looking for**:
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with proven experience in the substance misuse field or related sector, and a real passion for working with all type of challenges.

**In addition, you will**:

- You will ideally have a sound working knowledge and understanding of substance misuse services, policies and legislation.
- You will have knowledge and experience of a range of evidence based psychosocial interventions, such as Harm Reduction, CBT, and SMART Recovery
- You will have the ability to communicate at all levels and have a solution focused and positive attitude.
