Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Café Assistant to join our team. As a Café Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our café as it gets busier.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the café
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Take customer orders and ensure timely delivery
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of food is served
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Perform general cleaning duties

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of basic food safety practices
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The hours initially will be set at:
Mondays - 8:30am to 3:30pm

Saturdays - 9.00am to 2pm

There is also the option of additional hours to cover staff holidays etc. These hours are likely to increase towards the end of the year as the café gets busier and busier

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £8.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
