Our Residential Support Workers create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will ensure their wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care, guidance, and advocacy. It is key that they stay safe and healthy and can reach their full potential.

**About the service**

***Sycamore house 4 bed is a long term home for children with disabilities ages (at present) 12-18. we have just been awarded outstanding by ofsted. the young people enjoy a range of activities, lots of music and love to be active. staff want the very best for the young people and support them to achieve their potential in all areas.

**How you'll help to create brighter futures**

We are now seeking a Residential Support Worker on a casual basis to help us maintain the high standards of care and personal development our young people have come to expect. We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our supportive team These are excellent opportunities to support activities and sessions providing quality care for children in need. You will achieve this by:

- Getting involved in lots of fun activities both within the project and out in the community.
- Assisting with personal care and daily routines of the young people.
- Supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
- Safeguarding young people.
- Helping coach young people to develop essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and money matters.

Ideally you will:

- Understand how to engage with young people.
- Have a positive approach and ‘can do' attitude.
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- Be ready to complete a level 3 in Residential Childcare within 2 years of commencing employment with us, full support will be provided.
