Location: Metro Headquarters - London
Position: Permanent

**Job Introduction**

Must be flexible regarding shifts (including weekends and nights).

**Requirements include**
- 2-3 years' experience in creating graphics, editing and sourcing picture content for a newspaper or online news operation
- Ability to work within stringent deadlines with the focus on producing eye catching creative graphics as well as sourcing, editing and distributing picture content to our various departments
- Experience in Photoshop
- Confidence in negotiating exclusives and managing agency relationships
- Good technical knowledge of picture management and web publishing systems
- Background in news and showbusiness picture content is desirable
- Understanding of legal covenants such as the UK Editors' Code of Practice, media law and editorial guidelines globally is desirable
