**Job Requirements**:

- SIA Licence required - Door Supervisor preferred
- Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor is required
- Excellent communication both written & verbal
- Excellent levels of customer service at all times
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Be Calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
- First Aid Qualification, ability to complete 3 day certification

**Areas of responsibility**:

- To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site at all times as required by the Client Representative(s).
- To lead the team of officers and oversee the day-to-day operation of delivery of the security contract and is expected to set the highest of standards to lead their team.
- Assist the Security contract manager in carrying out ongoing site training and competency testing, rostering and management of shift coverage.
- Creation on issuing of incident reports through the Merlin system and effectively escalating incidents when required.
- Is able to manage time and workload in order to consistently achieve daily goals.
- Utilising a variety of software packages not limited to, but notably, CCure 9000, Merlin, Timegate, Sky Visitor Permit System, Kone Lift Visualisation software and able to learn new systems as and when introduced.
- Comfortable being a POC during an incident and being the first POC for all on site issues when on duty before escalation to the Security contract manager.
- Able to operate and communicate through a building PA system
- To ensure that discipline is maintained on shift at all times including the wearing of full uniform and punctuality of officers.
- Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards and conduct
- Comfortable in carrying out difficult conversations when required
- Carry out and subsequently chair investigatory meetings, one to one's and meeting note taking
- Completion of varying administrative duties such as the upkeep of training records, training matrix and site documentation and completion of out of hours requests from the client and overseas offices, seeing through to conclusion.
- To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, students and visitors to the site.
- Able to communicate and liaise regularly with Clients, CIS Managers and senior Supervisors ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.
- Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
- Build a relationship with our main Control Room in order to both understand each other’s requirements
