**Events Project Manager**

Hybrid working - home based and working from central London office 1-2 days per week

**Purpose**

The in-house Event Manager role includes facilitating the smooth operations of our client services across the brand portfolio: The Big Christmas Press Show exhibition, 18 virtual Power Pitching events and PressFix, a digital image library.

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate 2+ years agency or in-house experience within the events sector, owning event delivery from conception to completion.

You will have the opportunity to make a huge impact as part of a small team in an entrepreneurial, progressive high growth business.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing the logistics across all virtual Power Pitching events
- Booking of key suppliers & managing suppliers at The Big Christmas Press Show
- Managing all Group presence and branding at The Big Christmas Press Show including signage, marketing materials
- Liaising with The Big Christmas Press Show venue (Business Design Centre)
- Securing, negotiating & liaising with event partners
- Managing the event operations team (Ops Squad) relationship at The Big Christmas Press Show
- Managing ad hoc bespoke events
- Budget management & reporting Event Project Management - once our clients have signed up for an event
- Nurturing customer relationships after signing up by the Sales team and smoothly project manage their involvement with the event
- Following & updating the Power Pitching processes collating all information from customers once signed up
- Following & updating The Big Christmas Press Show processes collating all information from customers once signed up
- Onboarding clients onto PressFix & nurturing their presence, sending a monthly customer update Sales & PR Support The events role is the bridge between the sales team and the PR team and will include involvement and insight into both areas of the business.
- Supporting the sales team with updating the CRM
- Liaising with the PR team to share relevant information
- Updating the relevant columns on the master company documents
- Sending client contracts
- Setting up customer mail merges
- Updating the CIJ Group & PressFix websites with event information
- Listing events on Google My Business plus other key directories
- Supporting with other ad-hoc administrative tasks within the company Desired Skills & Expertise Industry experience in events & exhibition management Degree level education Competent at Excel and spreadsheet management Excellent attention to detail andgrammatical skills Punctuality, timekeeping a priority Competent communicating face to face Confidence - at ease on phone speaking to customers Excellent organisation and time management skills.
