**Short Summary**

We are seeking a talented Engagement Manager to ensure that the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) engages in a coordinated and planned approach with international bodies and presents a consistent message across its engagements. This is an exciting career opportunity to play a key role in our engagements with regional and international organisations.

The Engagement Manager role sits within the International Bodies and Technical Engagement Team. The team plays an important role in maintaining UKHO’s high profile and strong credibility throughout the global maritime community and ensures all engagements are aligned to the UKHO corporate strategy, priorities and business plan.

**Job description**:
In this role your main responsibilities will be:

- To produce, coordinate and deliver briefs for UK delegations attending International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) or Regional Hydrographic Commission (RHC) meetings.
- To ensure that UK delegations are provided with consistent and authoritative messaging on key topics and UKHO business priorities.
- To maintain information and records on SharePoint, including briefs and external meeting reports, and develop a knowledgebase about UKHO interests in external bodies.
- To ensure UKHO is represented at key IHO and RHC committees and working groups, maintain a database of representatives and their objectives.
- To act as Secretary to Regional Hydrographic Commissions where UK hold the Chair position.
- To support in the development of IHO and RHC Engagement Strategies.
