An exciting opportunity for a COO (Mat Cover) - Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) has developed for a cutting-edge client who is developing intelligent pathway technology, powering the first single platform for collaborative healthcare and clinicalresearch globally.
Our core solution captures structured, protocolised and clinically validated data, empowering better patient-centred outcomes and generating new leaps in healthcare.
Location: London - Hybrid/Remote

**Salary**: Competitive based on experience
We have a unique opportunity for a collaborative, consultative person for a Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO)
This is a 9-month Maternity Cover position based in the UK.
Overview: You will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business
Assess and enhance the efficiency of internal and external operational systems and processes coupling with
driving efficient collaboration across the globally distributed team
Line manage and develop the leadership team for the Customer, Finance, HR, Regulatory Affairs and Operations functions.
Act as a thought partner to the CEO and CTO to help shape, enhance and develop the short-, medium
- and long-term strategy for my innovative client.
Our ideal applicant will have/be.
- Strong Operations: Evaluate company performance through analysing data and key metrics and taking steps to improve them (OKR and KPI setting)
- Finance: Oversee the financial strategy, supporting the Finance team in the development of financial models, budgets, and analyses
- HR: Establish policies to promote the company culture and vision
- Oversee the recruitment process to attract top talent and reduce employee turnover. Ensure appropriate succession planning to prevent key man risk as the company grows
- BPM Customer Service (reactive) to Customer Success (proactive)
- Customer: Ensure appropriate and scalable technical support functions
- (Internally and externally) are established
- Regulatory Affairs: Oversee the implementation of BPM's business continuity planning and companywide risk management processes.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills - ability to get the best out of the team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Clear and decisive decision making - proactive rather than reactive
