A great opportunity has become available for a reliable and skilled **Office Administrator**to join a regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles based in the **Isle of Wight.** You will join them on a **part-time, permanent** basis working 16 hours per week, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£21,000 per annum pro rata.**
Our client is an expanding construction and maintenance company focused on delivering exceptional service to its clients and customers across the south of England. They employ over 330 staff across the South of England.
**About the Office Administratorrole**:
You will provide a professional and efficient administration service for the Isle of Wight Hub to support the operational team in delivering maintenance services to multiple clients.

**Key responsibilities as theOffice Administrator** **willinclude**:
- Recording accurate information on a helpdesk jobs from engineers, subcontractors and clients
- Keeping all systems updated with required information
- Chasing, collating and recording PPM and compliance documentation
- At times supporting the resource controller to plan and deliver the day by sending the right operatives and sub-contractors, ensuring operatives and sub-contractors arrive on time and in the most cost-effective manner
- At times supporting to allocate the right operatives, based on skills, availability and locality to the jobs that are nearing completion to ensure we meet appointment times and minimize travel and downtime
- Deputising the role of a Resource Controller and Costing administrator potentially for lunch breaks or any other period of absence that may require the support of the role
- Ensuring issues are being captured and feedback to the Resource Controller/ Contract Manager
- Any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Contract Manager
**What the company are looking for in theirOffice Administrator**:
- GCSE or Equivalent in Qualification in Maths and English
- NVQ in business administration or equivalent (Desirable)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel with accurate keyboard skills
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance trades and the tasks/activities that can be undertaken by each trade group
- Strong Attention to Detail and willing to show initiative
- Ability to work without supervision with excellent time management skills
- Have a clear and concise approach to verbal communication, able to use the phone to communicate effectively, and have good typing skills
