If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Birmingham, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a young boy who lives with his family in Birmingham, he requires support on a 1:1 basis during the day.

He likes having books read to him and watching children's TV programs; his favourite programmes to watch are Mr Tumble and Andy's Adventures

Playtime is a big part of this role, and you must be willing to engage in with promoting development through play. He enjoys sensory based activities such as playing with light up toys, balloons and exploring different textures.

Throughout the day you will be required to assist with meeting his care needs, this could include personal care, mobility support and attending to his clinical care needs when required.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Desirable Experience**
- PEG Feeding
- Oral Suctioning

**We have the following shifts available**
- Part Time Days
- 6-8 Hour Shifts
- 2-3 Shifts Per Week

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £104 per 8-hour shift)

Saturdays: £13.75 per hour (Approx. £110 per 8-hour shift)

Sundays: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £112 per 8-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £14.50 per hour (Approx. £116 per 8-hour shift)
