We are looking to recruit a Housekeeping Team Leader to join our well-respected establishment. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the housekeeping environment. You will have a keen eye for detail ensuring we deliver the ultimate level of cleanliness and presentation. You will be used to working in a pressurised and fast-paced environment, you will have previously worked to support a team and manage multiple priorities at any time. You will be extremely organised and be very detail-oriented, as your role will require you to manage a diverse Hospital Housekeeping Department as well as maintaining business critical documentation.
Responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of the House Keeping service to include monitoring and maintaining standards of service in all areas.

What you’ll bring with you:

- Experience for planning and monitoring work in all Housekeeping areas
- Manage a team of Housekeepers on a day to day basis, including appraisals, coaching, disciplinary
- Ability to deliver an “outstanding” quality of cleanliness throughout the hospital
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Deliver Service Level Agreements for both clinical and non-clinical areas throughout the hospital
- Develop effective Cleaning Schedules in line with CQC regulations
- Develop Policies and Service Operating Procedures for the Housekeeping team to adhere too
- Understand the compliance for regular Audits
- Understanding resource planning to support hospital activity and the Housekeeping team
- Plan and develop deep cleans for all areas, including managing the yearly deep clean from an outside company in line with theatre regulations
- Develop Laundry and stock inventories in line with budget levels
- Good understanding with all current Health & Safety, Infection Controls, COSHH Regulations, Risk Assessments and Puwer Regulations
- Manage all relevant documentation ready for CQC visits
- Assisting with the development and training of all housekeeping staff, maintain up to date training records and carry out induction of any new staff
- Ability to carry out annual staff appraisals and interviews
- Ensure the control, storage and replenishment of consumable stock is in line with COSHH regulations
