An International Investment Banking Group is currently hiring for a Head of Financial Reporting in their London Office. The business is investing heavily in growing their European business with London acting as a key hub for their global expansion strategy.

Working for a new CFO, this hire will play a key role in creating a Finance structure which is scalable as the business grows its headcount over the next 1-2 years.

Looking for an experienced accountant who can balance the hands-on work with oversight and leadership responsibility. Great move for anyone looking to join a growing business with the benefit of working for a large corporate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish a sound business operating model within the Finance function and financial controls to ensure the effective production of financial information
- Lead and develop a team of 3 accountants
- Ensure statutory reporting requirements are met for separate legal entities operating within the London Branch.
- Liaise with and cultivate strong working relationships with Group Finance and Statutory Finance senior management teams.
- Provide regulatory information required for inclusion in the CFO reports for review and presentation/ submission.
- Act as a key contact point for both internal and external regulatory auditors and ensure that any audit issues are resolved during the year.
- Maintain and update the annual reporting diary and month-end reporting schedules.
- Liaise with in-country tax
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Collation of tax pack data, for completion and submission of tax return by Tax team
- Contribution to the design and implementation of appropriate financial controls and processes (accuracy, completeness, validity) to be incorporated into financial reporting environments.

**Profile**:

- Qualified Accountant with a number of years PQE
- Experience of leading a team of accountants
- Previous track record in an Investment Banking / Capital Markets environment.
- Ability to implement and improve financial controls and reporting processes
