**About Transpower**:
Transpower is an electronics business providing complete assemblies to multiple industries including defence and aerospace for 30 years.

We design, develop, manufacture and test our products in-house so there is plenty of opportunity to move into another department should you wish.

**About the role**:
You will be required to inspect power supplies in all stages, from surface mount components on a PCB through to a fully completed unit complete with metalwork. All inspection is done to class 2 or 3 depending upon the project. The role includes but is not limited to:

- Inspecting components on a PCB (usually 0805/1206 size);
- Inspecting multiple PCB assemblies on a heatsink or baseplate;
- Final mechanical assembly where required;
- Final power up of power supplies;
- Completing a final batch checklist;
- Labelling and packing up power supplies ready for delivery;
- Liaising with the Production Manager to give feedback to assembly workers;
- Creating and processing non-conformance reports, change requests;
- Assistance with First Article Inspections as required.

**This is an in-house role, not suitable for those wishing to work from home.**

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- J-STD-IPC-610 certification (either current or lapsed, you will be required to renew the certificate once employed at Transpower)

**Bonus skills**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of AS9102.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
