**About the Role**:
This is a critical role which sits in our production team ensuring our products manufactured in-house are built to a high-quality standard, comply with regulations, satisfy customer requirements and ultimately contribute to the success and reputation of the company. You will be responsible for inspecting products, conducting quality checks, and documenting findings to maintain high standards of production. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations team.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of products at various stages of the production process. Both In-line & Goods inwards inspections involve visual inspection, measurements and testing using specialised equipment and techniques.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Weekly audit of production process and controls, focusing on monitoring product quality during production to detect and address defects early and enhance production efficiency.
- Ensuring all line inspection documentation complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Product use-by-date maintenance. Maintaining detailed records of use-by-dates for each batch of products, ensuring products are stored under conditions that maintain their quality and safety until expired.
- Calibration and maintenance control. Overseeing the calibration process, and ensuring maintenance activities are carried out according to established procedures.
- Device History Record (DHR) creation and verification of compliance. Verifying that the manufacturing process and product specifications outlined in the DHR comply with the relevant regulatory standards, industry guidelines and internal quality management systems.
- System / Product release. Ensuring regulatory compliance before the product can be released to the market.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections and documenting findings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory standards applicable to the industry (e.g. FDA regulations for medical devices).
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding quality standards and best practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity and keen eyesight for detailed inspections.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality assurance or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometers, gauges
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
