A **Local Authority** is looking for** **a **Senior Practitioner (Adoption & Assessment Support)**. This is a **Permanent** positions and is **full time**.

This **Local Authority** have made a number of changes as they are striving to be **"Outstanding" rated**. You will be experienced in ensuring that the welfare of Children & Young people is safeguarded. This **Adoption **service is a part of the Regional Adoption Agency.

**Duties and Responsibilities for you as the **Senior Practitioner**:

- Undertake assessments
- Supervision of less experienced staff
- Reporting to Team Manager
- Therapeutic working
- Hold a complex caseload

**Requirements for you as the **Senior Practitioner**:

- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Significant experience within Adoption
- Significant experience within Children's Social Work
- A working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care

**Location: Birmingham**

**Salary range: £41,000 - £47,024 d.o.e + benefits**
