**About us**

Laughland Jones is an Interior Architecture and Design studio working on luxury residential projects in the UK and Europe. Seeking a Project and Office Assistant to join our friendly and creative team. The role is ideal for someone with a good understanding of project workflow - ideally with a design or construction background. An organised individual with strong business sense and understands the importance of deadlines and structure. Superb communciation skills a must. This role involves working closely with the Project Manager, Design Manager and designers, purchasers and finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Support:

- Assist project manager in planning, executing, and monitoring project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate project-related meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation of meeting minutes.
- Compile and organise project data, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and task coordination.

2. Administrative Support:

- Oversee general office activities, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Assist in travel arrangements, expense reporting, and calendar management for team members.
- Maintain organised filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

3. Office Management:

- Create and maintain a welcoming and organised office environment for employees and visitors.
- Coordinate office events, meetings, and celebrations to promote team engagement and morale.
- Implement and manage office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments.
- Monitor and implement staff rotas

4. Communication:

- Serve as a point of contact between team members, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in project support, administrative assistance, or office management
- ideally from a construction or interior deisgn background
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
