Exciting opportunity to work as part of the MZ Contracts Ltd team in a supporting role working in our offices in Whyteleafe, Surrey. MZ Contracts carry out refurbishment and maintenance projects across London and the home counties. Our clients include NHS Trusts, NHS Property Services, Primary Care, CBRE, London and Regional Properties and Schools

**Hours of Work**

Monday to Friday

08:00am to 17:00pm

**Package**

20 days with 3 days to be saved for the Christmas shut down + Bank holidays

**Key Responsibilities**

**Service Delivery Responsibilities**

Key duties include:

- Project aftercare
- Documentation control and distribution including risk assessments and competence document distribution
- Monitoring of training matrix to maintain compliance
- Monitoring of supply chain insurance / training documentation to maintain compliance
- Creating job packs for the team
- Updating online client portals with live relevant job information
- Booking of operatives onto work sites
- Customer Relations
- Raising purchase orders to supply chain
- Purchasing materials and managing order documentation
- Booking training courses for operatives
- Assisting the team with ad-hoc duties
- To maintain high standards of customer care

**Health and Safety Responsibilities**
- To adhere safe working practice and procedures and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- To report to your immediate supervisor anything that might put at risk the health, safety or welfare of yourself, colleagues or visitors.
- To work in a manner conducive to the health and safety of yourself and any other person who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
- To ensure that appropriate PPE is always worn if a site visit occurs
- To ensure you are familiar with fire procedures of the office

**ANY OTHER DUTIES**

**Experience**

Ideal for school leaver or someone with experience in office role

Experience in managing and prioritising a busy workload

Experience in working within property / construction

**Skills and Abilities**

Ability to make clear rational decisions, exercising independent judgement in a professional and competent manner.

Confident, robust and resilient and with the drive to complete set tasks.

Well organised with a professional approach.

Ability to present complex information to a range of audiences.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Able to take deliveries

**Knowledge**

Competency in Microsoft Office Suites e.g., Excel & Word
