Event Co-ordinator - PAYE - Manchester

Gibbs Hybrid is looking for an accomplished Event Co-ordinator to work full time onsite with a client in the Manchester area. You will team lead and coordinate training activities for a client planned outage period, covering 25 training topics and approx 170 people. The Event Coordinator will communicate this timetable to all staff and be the point of contact onsite for any queries, during this time. You will organise all logistics support (travel, room bookings, food supplies) and provide briefings and training registration, signoff and completion. This is an initial 4 months rolling PAYE contract, which might extend further, if you do well. 5 days onsite required in Manchester. Demonstrable experience of having the solo responsibility of managing and coordinating events

Essential
- Event planning, event coordination
- Solid administrator/coordinator who can plan an event for 100+ people
- Happy to solo manage a project/event and confident to liaise with the right people across the business to get this completed.
- Co-ordinating training activities
- Act as point of contact for individuals during the outage period.
- Organising all the Logistics support, which may include travel / room bookings, liaising with facilities and food suppliers
- Supporting leaders with delivery of a mixture of events, hands on training, briefings, bite size training sessions, including managing the admin of training sign off/registration
- Communicating with all teams, ensuring the full programme is well organised and managed
- Co-ordinate post shut down activities, outplacement and overall feedback /actions / next steps
- Responsible for the programme of activities associated with employees leaving the business due to restructuring programme
- Individually supporting each employee with various levels of support
- Co-ordinating the pensions / financial support sessions with external provider, responsible for the follow up of queries / sign posting for further help and support
- Manage the new skills training programme for external skills for leavers, the Process, communication, funding/ payments, support, advice etc
- Co-ordinating the outplacement services, job fairs, career counselling, advice and support sessions for leavers
