**LOCAL MARKETING ASSISTANT**

Contract Type : Fixed Term

Location: Coventry

Reports to: Commercial Site Manager

Pay: TBC

Working Hours: 40hrs / 4 week period.

**RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Take the lead in running the social media channels of the site, including generating organic content.
- Particular focus on SEO and improving the Google My Business listing.
- Liaise with Bloggers/Vloggers and invite them to Blog/Vlog about our activities.
- Grow brand awareness and drive customer bookings.
- To develop and maintain good relationships with marketing partners, local media (to deliver PR), local businesses/corporates, schools and any other relevant prospective customer groups in the catchment area.
- Build awareness and knowledge of local competitors monitoring products, pricing, advertising etc. To assist Go Ape in remaining an attractive proposition.
- Helping to identify opportunities to further grow the site business (new partnerships, new merchandising opportunities or upsell potential etc).
- Various administration tasks relating to marketing work.
- Assist in attracting good quality applicants for the instructor recruitment process.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

Essential
- An interest in, and appreciation of the impact that Marketing has on customer behaviour
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Social media literacy, with an understanding of how to promote a business, increase follower count and create engaging content across multiple platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoys working with others.
- High energy levels with a positive approach and outlook
- Full driving licence and own transport

- Customer service background and excellent customer service skills
- Marketing experience
- Recruitment experience
- Loves adventure and working outdoors
- Has visited Go Ape before and has an understanding of the brand

- **Contract **Fixed term til 2024. There may be the opportunity for a permanent contract later down the line if you become part of the core team. The core season runs February to October but we’re open all year round so there will be the opportunity to work throughout the year.
