**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Student Life team as a **Student Progress Coordinator**. The Student Life Team work closely with the other functions across Worldwide to help students succeed in their studies at the University of London, improving student outcomes and maximising the advantages they derive from their time with us.

The Student Progress Coordinator will assist the Student Progress Manager in undertaking a broad range of front-facing student engagement to support students achieve their educational goals and engage in opportunities that maximise success throughout their learning journey.

The role will involve contacting students we identify as being at risk of dropping out of their studies, and helping to remove any roadblocks they face (that the University can influence) in order that they may continue their studies. The post holder will take a ‘casework’ approach to this activity, and will help the University to measure and monitor the impact this new service has on student retention.

The duties of the role will always be focussed on improving student retention, and the day to day duties may change as we roll out new - and expand existing - Student Life activities designed to enhance engagement, retention and completion.
