An exciting opportunity has become available to join our ENT Team. We are looking for a reliable, dynamic and enthusiastic person with a high standard of organisational skills to line manage our efficient secretarial service and friendly team. The post holder will need to be engaging, and compassionate, with a good attention to detail and able to use their own initiative.

The successful applicant will be joining a highly motivated and effective team who strive to ensure patient care is at the forefront of our service.
- Manage and monitor patients through their treatment pathway ensuring compliance to RTT, cancer pathways and local waiting time standards.
- Provide comprehensive administrative, clerical and additional support to consultants and their teams.
- Linking with operational management team to ensure that RTT, Cancer and EPR letter performance standards are met.
- Key liaison between the Trust and outsourced dictation services, or voice recognition services, for the majority of clinical administration.
- Work in a team based secretarial service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service.
- Act as a key point of liaison between patients, GPs, other staff and outside agencies.
