As a **Field Care Supervisor **you’ll motivate and develop carers, providing all of the coaching, direction, supervision and advice they need to maintain the very highest quality standards. You’ll get to know customers and their families too, as well as co-ordinate care packages.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Produce, review and update care plans
- Building relationships with service users and their families
- Monthly medication audits
- Supporting care workers in their development
- Conduct care workers’ observations, supervisions and spot checks
- Being on-call on a rota basis
- Liaise with other health care professionals
- Attend local authority meetings
- Ensure full compliance with CQC
- Support the day-to-day running of the branch
- Attend internal meetings
- **Who we're looking for**:_
- Minimum of at least 6 months Senior Care experience
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care is desired but not essential as Novus Care will help and support you to achieve this
- Due to the nature of the job, driving is essential for this role
- Have a passion for caring and motivation to make a difference
- A professional manner and real enthusiasm for the delivery of care
- Reliability, flexibility, hard work and honesty
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Adapt quickly to emergency situations and make changes as necessary
- Ability to work as a key part of a team offering support to others
- The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
