**Sales Coordinator job opportunity in Whitstable, Kent**

Our client excels in an exciting industry, creating components for customers in the aerospace, marine and nuclear sectors. They are looking for a customer facing sales coordinator to make the quoting and buying process easy for their customers and to maximise sales conversion through efficient processing of enquiries and orders.

**About this Sales Coordinator job**:

- Data entry
- Implementing, contributing to and maintaining office-based Sales procedures in accordance with the applicable Standard Practices, whilst maintaining and exceeding the departmental and individual KPI requirements.
- Creating quotes for existing components, and passing bespoke component requests to the relevant account manager
- Processing orders
- Preparing and following up quotations in a timely fashion.
- To maximise sales conversion through efficient processing of enquires and orders, and thorough, timely customer contact from the Sales Office.
- Following up with customers, progressing orders and ensuring that orders are fulfilled to their satisfaction
- To work with and support the Business Development Managers.

**Sales Coordinator shift pattern**:

- Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:30
- Friday, 08:00-13:30
- 30 minute unpaid break daily
- 37.5 hour working week

**About you, the ideal Sales Coordinator**:

- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Confident with data inputting, able to process data accurately
- Efficient with Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel

**What’s in it for you?**
- £25,000 to £27,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Up to 28 days paid leave, including bank holidays
- Pension scheme after 12 weeks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
