Technical Writer

**The Opportunity**:
Exciting news - Mixmax crossed $10 million in annual revenue

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join us to elevate our documentation, improve our customer onboarding experience, and optimize our support team's efficiency. We need a writer to design and write content that humans and AI can understand - where the AI utilizes the documentation to respond to customer questions (just like ChatGPT). We are also looking for a writer who can write video scripts so we can create video tutorial content for our product features. As a crucial member, you will collaborate closely with customer support, product teams, and occasionally marketing to achieve shared business goals and initiatives.

**Within three months, you'll**:

- Collaborate with product managers and other teams to plan, research, author, and continuously update the Mixmax Help Center and internal knowledge base.
- Analyze how the AI (GPT-4) processes the help center content to respond to customers and then revise articles if needed.
- Identify gaps in our documentation by utilizing AI reports and feedback from our colleagues, then fill the gaps.

**Within six months, you'll**:

- Lead the technical writing initiative and establish policies and procedures to improve documentation.
- Be comfortable with video scriptwriting to create tutorial videos.
- Lead the project/initiative in the production of video tutorials.

**Preferred Skills and Background**:

- Very fluent in written and verbal English.
- 2+ years of experience writing any form of technical documentation or any similar content in a software-based company.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams.
- Experience working with any AI-based technology is a plus
- Essential project management skills.
- Basic web development skills (HTML & CSS).
- Resourceful, self-learner, analytical thinker, and naturally curious.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience and past success in a remote position.
- A team player who can work with diverse cultures.
