**Casework Support Officer**

We are currently looking for a Casework Support Officer for a role in Southwark. The Casework Support Officer will provide effective and efficient administrative support to Southwark's Housing Solutions

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- To provide support to frontline Housing Solutions team in ensuring that cases are dealt with in an efficient and effective way saving the council time and money.
- To ensure that documents provided by customers are efficiently indexed in the Electronic Document Management System
- To serve as the link between officers, customers and advocates thereby ensuring that the service provided is seamless.
- To ensure that the Duty to Refer referrals are processed in a timely manner.
- To assist managers in conducting audit of cases to aid compliance with relevant procedures, statutory guidance and legislation.

**Experience:
- Experience of administrative support is essential
- Must be a proficient user of Microsoft systems
- Must have a good level of numeracy and literacy
- Additional experience of Northgate Housing (NEC) system would be desirable but not essential.
