**Shift and Schedule ** _Weekend availability, Monday to Friday, 6 days per week, holidays_

As Summer Camp Coordinator, your role will be crucial in facilitating our summer programs by ensuring the students' well-being, organizing trips and activities, and enabling smooth program operations. This role is based in Oxford, and is residential, meaning accommodation and travel expenses are covered. Meals will be provided when you are on duty. You will have the opportunity to work in some of the most esteemed university locations in Oxford and participate in our social and cultural program that includes day trips, local activities, and formal hall dining in historic colleges.

This is a fixed-term contract paying between £13-£18 per hour. You will be expected to work 40-50 hours per week on a shift pattern, with one day off per week. You will report to either the Course Leader or House Parent.
Opportunities for overtime may be provided.

**Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to**:

- _Assisting with student arrivals and departures._
- _Delivering an initial welcome briefing to students._
- _Ongoing promotion of activities and encouragement of student participation._
- _Conducting daily meetings with students after lessons to communicate information regarding daily schedule, meeting times and places and upcoming activities._
- _Attending and running all activities for your group._
- _Keeping up to date records and paperwork._
- _Attending all leader meetings._
- _Participating in the duty rotas when required._
- _Ensuring our behaviour code is followed at all times and escalating immediately if there are any issues._
- _Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise._

**Requirements**:

An ideal Summer Camp Coordinator possesses charisma, initiative, enthusiasm, and may hold or be working towards first aid, English as a second language or safeguarding certifications.
