This post is an excellent opportunity to progress your career; it is suitable for Clinical Specialist Dietician with previous and extensive experience at band 6 or 7 level.

Each discipline is supported by a Clinical Lead, with strong links with GP's, Consultants and local Universities. We work closely with other organisations across Cheshire and Merseyside through the Cheshire and Merseyside Allied Health Professions (AHP) council and AHP faculty. We actively support and encourage all of our staff to access CPD and provide opportunities to be involved in service development and networking opportunities across the region.

To act as an a clinical specialist dietitian responsible for the assessment and treatment of patient referred with complex Dietetic and Nutrition requirements and complex physical needs, so contributing to determining clinical diagnosis and overall case management.

To work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team to access and act upon relevant diagnostic tests and make relevant onward recommendations as necessary

To act as lead clinician within specialist area supporting the operational delivery, planning, co-ordination, and evaluation of the Dietetic and Nutrition service provided for patients with complex dietetic and nutritional requirements
