Hours: 36.25 Hours Per Week
Type: Permanent
Salary - £89,948.00 with a 7% cost of living increase from 1st April
Location: Leyland PR25, Agile working to be agreed. Would expect at least 2 days in office
Interview: W/C 20th March
Start date: TBC
As Director, Property Services you will contribute to the overall strategic management and service delivery, ensuring a clear alignment to the Group's business objectives. You will lead work with the senior leadership team in devising and implementing excellencein Property Services in all areas, whilst ensuring the effective management of risk. Responsible for executing business strategies and delivering on plans focusing on Property Services including strategic asset management, repairs and maintenance, environmentand sustainability and compliance. You will also ensure excellent performance and customer service in the delivery of the Group's repairs and maintenance services whether directly delivered or through contract management and supply chain arrangements, strivingfor continuous improvement and learning.
**Responsibilities**:
Strategy & Leadership
- As a senior leader in the organisation show an excellent team working approach and promote teamwork in the delivery of all responsibilities.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to deliver key organisational priorities. Lead the Property Services team providing coaching, training and development and build capability as necessary.
- To contribute to the review and monitoring of the Group's Strategic Plan.
- To take the lead in developing asset management, compliance, maintenance, environmental and sustainability strategies and action plans.
Staff Management
- To manage, motivate and lead colleagues within the Property Services team and ensure that they are trained, supervised, appraised and supported.
- To ensure staff are aware of the statutory framework and to audit the work to ensure it complies with the statutory requirements and good practice.
- To ensure that all colleagues under post-holder's responsibility are aware of the Group 's business objectives, plans, equalities framework, policies and procedures and are focused on their achievement and implementation.
Performance Management
- To ensure corporate, team and individual outcome based targets are set, monitored and achieved.
- To monitor and review performance for all areas of the Property Services function providing regular performance information.
- Produce, monitor and review service improvement plans that promote continuous improvement.
- To ensure a collaborative approach to work with colleagues in other directorates and provide a high level customer orientated service both inside and outside the organisation in line with internal and external customer service standards.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years senior management experience in a Social Housing context
- Professional Qualification in Housing or MCIOB or RICS
- Experience of anaging property related compliance in line with legal requirements
- Experience of managing repairs and maintenance delivery
- Project management skills
