**Profile**:

- Our client is a fast growth, professional services business based in Central London. They are expanding quickly so will need extra support within their Credit Control dept._
- This business has a fun & sociable culture so the individual will need to be confident and want to get involved with all areas of the business and deal with multiple key stakeholders._
- The company are currently undergoing an exciting re-brand along with moving into a stunning new office in the heart of Mayfair. The finance team will be situated in the centre of it all, sitting along side the recruiters creating a more dynamic and inclusiveatmosphere _
- Due to the rapid growth of the business, there will be ample opportunities for someone to introduce better ways of working and new processes to the credit control function._
- To optimise cash collection by ensuring that sales invoices are paid on time and queries resolved quickly and efficiently. _

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage credit control for the business including helping to supervise a junior credit controller
- Work closely with consultants and contractors to maintain a smooth billing process
- Rectify errors on portals / party pay & bill system.
- Liaise with legal & compliance to ensure AR customer set-up is correctly completed.
- Ensure all invoices are approved in line with the delegation of authority.
- Resolve AR queries by liaising with external and internal stakeholders.
- Reconciling statements, problem solving and managing the escalations
- Build strong client relationships, have challenging conversations and confidence to push for a resolution
- Involved in continuous improvements to internal processes and credit policies
- Other general administrative tasks as required.

**Skills and qualification requirements**:

- Basic to Intermediate Excel user. (Must be competent at Pivot tables)
- Highly organised and deadline oriented.
- Eye for detail, numerate with strong verbal and writing skills.
- Experience in a Credit Control dept
- Confident phone manner
