**Job Summary/Job Purpose**:
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Specialty Training Team in the planning and delivery of school functions and processes to support GP Training.

The post holder will develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and maintain high standards relating to administrative processes. They will need to be able to work within a team effectively and efficiently and will be required to share sensitive information with colleagues and managers daily.

The post holder will be expected to work to strict deadlines working to agreed national and local policies and processes for Specialty Training.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Supporting the team with national and local recruitment for GP Specialty Training which includes, generating adverts, organising interview panels, processing offers and sending out trainee correspondence.

Supporting the team with ARCP panels for GP Specialty Training which includes processing Educational Supervisor payments and feedback.

Helping with the organisation and administration of the GP Specialty Training Doctors Annual Review by organising panels, setting-up Royal College electronic portfolios and entering outcome information on the GP Specialty Training database.

Be responsible for planning and setting priorities for their own work on a day-to-day basis.

Helping to plan, organise and minute meetings ensuring appropriate documentation is produced and circulated in a timely manner.

Helping to plan and organise GP Specialty School GP Programme Director Induction days by liaising with guest speakers, arranging suitable venues, sending invites, monitoring attendance and updating documentation.

Helping monitor and manage the General Practice generic mailboxes and phone lines, dealing with all enquiries in a professional manner.
