Clinical Fellow Post in Obstetrics & Gynaecology; with interest in acute gynaecology and early pregnancy.

Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow post (Minimum ST 4 level) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Watford General Hospital, with interest in early pregnancy and acute gynaecology.

These posts are for a period of at least 12 months, and will commence as soon as possible.

There is good opportunity for both clinical and surgical experience. The new appointee will work closely with consultants whose workload is mainly related to acute gynaecology surgery. The appointee will have supervised and protected ultrasound training sessions, in our gynaecology day assessment unit (GDAU).

There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are planned as part of the New Hospital Programme. These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.

The trust has recently gained ‘teaching hospital’ status which reflects the dedicated work of many teams and individuals who have set the standard for delivering high quality training, learning and education at all levels of the workforce.
