**Grade & Salary -** Grade 7. National banding - £49,592 - £62,286 per annum. Inner London - £53,396 - £62,286 per annum. Outer London - £51,494 - £60,528 per annum.

**Job description**:
We are looking for a motivated Head of PMO to lead the Cyber Security PMO function, developing and implementing well thought out governance, providing project risk management, effective progress reporting to plan and ensure effective information flows within Cyber security team and across the wider Programmes and partners. With a keen eye for detail and the bigger picture you will build highly effective working relationships with stakeholders to ensure governance is effective and be a key source of project information and metrics.

The Cyber PMO & Projects Lead will provide effective leadership on PMO and project activities across the whole of the Cyber Security team. The role will prepare the business for the impact of the changes being delivered by the Cyber Security Team and provide a bridge between the team and service users to enable a successful embedding and realisation of business benefits.

You will need to deliver through a team of project professionals, setting clear direction, building capability and leading through change. You will need to build and sustain close working relationships with key partners such as Technology, Finance, HR delivery teams, Business Groups and Estates to ensure plans are credible, achievable, delivered, and that risks to delivery are managed effectively

The Cyber Security team is delivering at pace so the Cyber PMO and Projects Lead will need to be comfortable with ambiguity and work with others to clarify the target state for each release of the service so an effective transition plan can then be formulated, delivered, and evaluated. The role will build relationships and work collaboratively with teams within the programme, across UKHSA networks and with Other Government Departments (OGDs) in support of business change. The ability to translate complex technical information into a clear and compelling narrative will be key.

**Role Description**

The role of the Threat Analyst (Protective Security) is to help the UKHSA understand the threats and hazards that may impact its mission and objectives and protect its people, assets and information.

This role will aim to build relationships with different parts of UKHSA to better understand how they operate and the challenges they are facing in order to mitigate threats and hazards. You will be responsible for delivering threat assessments, insights and threat awareness briefing/debriefings to address customer needs and will work closely with the UKHSA National Strategic Policy team and other areas of UKHSA.

You will build networks of contacts across the national security community and work with a range of partners across government, law enforcement, academia and industry.

You will be also required to support the wider team as required depending on priority changes.

A hybrid working pattern of office and home is expected for this role, with 2-3 days in the office. Your primary office is likely to be London, Colindale, Porton Down or Chilton.
